K021 –EF 2.7 mm
Double corrugated board made of ageing resistant material, total thickness 2.7 mm, natural white in colour. Flute thickness 1.6 and 1.1 mm, ageing resistant in accordance with ISO 9706, excellent planarity (flatness), easy processing characteristics, breathable. This corrugated board quality is the basic material used for making archival boxes, files, folders and is also ideal as frame backings for conservation quality picture framing.
Base paper
• 100 % bleached cellulose
• Without the usage of recycling fibres
• Free of wooden fibres
• Kappa level 1 - 2 = lignin-free
• pH 7.5 - 10.0 = acid-free (in accordance with ISO 6588-1:2005)
• Alkaline buffer > 2 % natural calcium carbonate (GCC)
• Sizing: neutral/synthetic (without alum additive)
• Top surface sizing: Cobb60 in accordance with ISO 535 < 25
• Without optical brightening agents (OBA-free)
• • Photographic Activity Test (PAT) passed in accordance with ISO 18916:2007
Glue used for the corrugated board
• Starch-based adhesive • pH > 8.0

The syntax is also applicable for the paper grain direction. All the five plies of paper are cut short grain
