K031 –BC 6.4 mm
Double corrugated board made of ageing resistant board material, total thickness 6.4 mm, natural white in colour. Flute thickness 3.0 and 3.4 mm. Top ply printed light grey. The individual plies are glued moisture-proof, ageing resistant in accordance with ISO 9706. This corrugated board quality is the basic material used for making archival boxes, files, folders and is also ideal as frame backings for conservation quality picture framing.
Base paper
• 100 % bleached cellulose
• Without the usage of recycling fibres
• Free of wooden fibres
• Kappa level 1 - 2 = lignin-free
• pH 7.5 - 10.0 = acid-free (in accordance with ISO 6588-1:2005)
• Alkaline buffer > 2 % natural calcium carbonate (GCC)
• Sizing: neutral/synthetic (without alum additive)
• Top surface sizing: Cobb60 in accordance with ISO 535 < 25
• Without optical brightening agents (OBA-free)
• Lightfastness 8 (= excellent) in accordance with the wool scale (ISO 12040:1998)
• No bleeding in accordance with DIN ISO 16245:2012
• High abrasion resistance in accordance with DIN ISO 53109:2008 • Photographic Activity Test (PAT) passed in accordance with ISO 18916:2007
Glue used for the corrugated board
• Starch-based adhesive • pH > 8.0

Item K031-4107 Top ply grey blue ; base natural white “Dimension A“ defines the flute length (A = 182 cm)
“Dimension B“ defines the cut-off length (B = 252 cm)
Synatx A x B cm = 182 x 252 cm
The syntax is also applicable for the paper grain direction. All the five plies of paper are cut long grain
